QSO - Gladstone Education in Concert
Join Queensland Symphony Orchestra for an educational concert designed for students of all ages and stages of music learning, from first experiences to expanding their musical concepts and knowledge.
Hosted byEd Le Brocqand led by conductorTianyi Lu,this concert opens with two commanding fanfares:Copland’siconic tribute to the common man, andJoan Tower’spowerful counterpoint for the uncommon woman.
From there, we enter the rich world ofTchaikovsky’sSwan Lake. Students will hear selections from all four acts from the sweeping dances and tender scenes to the dramatic character pieces.
